Access to higher education in Armenia
In Armenia, students access higher education after completing at least 12 years of schooling. Students finish primary school (4 years), junior school (5 years), and senior secondary school (3 years), obtaining the Mijnakarg Yndhanur Krtoutian Attestat (Certificate of Secondary Education). Students who complete vocational education (3 years) are also eligible for higher education, though they must pass an entrance exam. Admission requirements may also include medical certificates for foreign students.
