  • The university library, as the central organizational unit of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, with its three locations in Köthen, Dessau, and Bernburg, has the primary task of providing all university members with the best possible support in the areas of study, teaching, and research. It also serves as a resource for professional and general further education for all interested parties as a public institution.
  • The library's collection consists of various forms of publications, with media acquisition tailored to the current requirements of research and teaching, aligning with the preferences of the departments and the content of courses and study modules.
  • The university library offers access to approximately 350,000 mainly German and English language media, including textbooks, reference books, journals, standards, university publications, DVDs, eBooks, eJournals, and subject databases. It provides fully equipped user PC workstations, WLAN, individual workstations, group work areas, as well as printing and scanning facilities, making it an optimal learning location for students. Additionally, the library offers training courses on research, media, and information skills, along with guided tours and individual consultations.
  • The library also assists university members in publishing scholarly texts and provides advice on publishing scholarly publications.
