Hochschule Mittweida's housing offering includes the following options:

HSMW collaborates with Studentenwerk Freiberg, which provides a certain number of places in a dormitory.
For the winter semester, students should apply for a dormitory place by the end of June, and for the summer semester, by the beginning of January. This application is independent of the visa application process.

The modernly equipped student housing facilities are conveniently located directly on campus, with the student cafeteria and various shopping opportunities nearby. Students can choose from several types of rooms, and living in the dormitory offers advantages such as perfect studying conditions, easy networking with other students, and a smooth start to their studies with opportunities to make new friends. The dormitories are maintained by "Studentenwerk Freiberg".

Students are required to open a German bank account immediately after their arrival, as the monthly accommodation loan will be deducted from this account. Additionally, a deposit (e.g., 2 monthly loans) must be paid, which will be refunded at the end of the stay if the room is left without damages and in a clean condition.
