Established in 1972, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the rural setting of the large metropolis of Alexandria (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in Cairo, Asswan, Port Said and Latakia.
