Founded in 2014, the University of Sumer is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Al-Rifai (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Dhi Qar. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Iraq, University of Sumer (UoS) is a small sized (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational Iraqi higher education institution. University of Sumer (UoS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as master's degrees in several areas of study.
