Financial aids at Università degli Studi di Trento:
The university offers scholarship confirmation and enrollment renewal to eligible students. The scholarship can be extended to the following academic year based on students' performance. Credits earned during each year are verified, and the scholarship renewal process follows specific deadlines.
The yearly scholarship can be extended until September of the following academic year, remaining within the regular duration of the degree course. Master's students can receive the scholarship for a maximum of 2 years, while Bachelor's students can receive it for up to 3 years. Every September, the credits earned until August 10th are reviewed to confirm and extend the scholarship for the following year. If a student is not eligible for the scholarship extension, they will be required to pay the tuition fees according to the provided table.
Starting from the academic year 2022/2023, the annual amount of UniTrento scholarships will be increased to 7,200 Euros (8,500 Euros for female students enrolled in STEM degrees).
Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) Scholarships:
If students are not eligible for the UniTrento scholarship, they can check if they meet the requirements for the annual call for applications for scholarships funded by the Italian Government (MAECI Scholarships).
If a student receives the MAECI scholarship for 6 months, they will be required to pay 50% of the UniTrento tuition fees. However, if they receive the MAECI scholarship for 9 months, they will be exempt from paying tuition fees.
It's important to note that students must already be admitted to one of Università degli Studi di Trento's Master's or Bachelor's degree courses to participate in the MAECI call for scholarships.
