Founded in 1806, the Università degli Studi di Palermo (University of Palermo) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Palermo (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Sicilia. This institution also has branch campuses in Agrigento, Caltanissetta and Erice.
