Founded in 1877, the Università degli Studi di Trieste (University of Trieste) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Trieste (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Friuli Venezia Giulia. This institution also has branch campuses in Gorizia, Pordenone and Portogruaro.
