The library of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University was established in 1998, aligning with the university's mission to cater to the information and knowledge needs of faculty, students, researchers, and administrative staff. Its primary goals are to support educational, scientific, cultural, and other information requirements, foster the use of an efficient electronic system, expand and enrich information resources, and bolster educational, training, and research programs.

Significant developments have taken place over the years to enhance library services. In 2002, an electronic catalog was introduced, followed by the implementation of the "Yordam" automated library system in 2005, fully automating all library services. The electronic catalog was made accessible to the global community through the Internet (http://yordam.manas.edu.kg/). Furthermore, in February 2016, the mobile format of the electronic catalog, known as "My Mobile Library," was introduced, catering to the evolving needs of users in a digital age.

Presently, the library boasts an extensive collection, comprising over 90 thousand books, newspapers, journals, audio, and video sources. With 410 seats available, it serves approximately 500 thousand readers annually. The library is equipped with an electromagnetic protection system, enabling readers to freely access open sources. Modern facilities and connections to around 60 electronic databases provide readers with a vast array of electronic books and journals across various disciplines. Moreover, each library location offers high-speed WiFi and includes two computer rooms accommodating up to 27 people.

The Central Library, established in September 2013, stands as a notable addition. It is housed in a building situated alongside a dormitory on the university campus. Equipped with more than 35,000 resources, including books, newspapers, journals, audio, and video sources, it accommodates 82 seats and features two reading rooms. Additionally, it houses a fund of scientific journals, a collection of valuable books, and a repository of diploma works.
