Established in 1942, the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Ulaanbaatar (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants).   • For Dormitory No. 3: 800,000 ₮

  • Faculty and staff members actively participate in various sports competitions. The faculty teams in basketball, volleyball, and chess have won gold medals in major competitions among universities and health sectors.

Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences provides financial aids through Student Development Loans aimed at enhancing learning opportunities for students. Approximately 250 students participate each term, with loan applications accepted every semester based on the credit requirements of the courses. Previously, loans were available to all eligible students, but since Government Resolution No.70 of February 19, 2020, eligibility has been focused on two specific programs: Bio-Medical Researcher and Public Health Researcher.

In 2022, the Ministry of Education and Science conducted a survey to identify priority professions, resulting in Resolution No.115 of March 29, 2023, which expanded eligibility to students in 10 programs at MNUMS. This revision has made financial support more accessible to students.
