Founded in 2001, the Universiti AIMST (AIMST University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Bedong (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Kedah. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia), Universiti AIMST (AIMST) is a small sized (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational Malaysian higher education institution. Universiti AIMST (AIMST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
