Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education

Established in 2015, the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA) is an independent agency responsible for the quality assurance and accreditation of higher education institutions and programs in Cyprus. The agency was established in 2015 and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture. CYQAA conducts external evaluations of higher education institutions and programs to ensure that they meet national and international quality standards. The agency also provides guidance and support to institutions to improve the quality of their education. CYQAA is a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and adheres to the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). Considering all this, according to uniRank CYQAA plays an important role in maintaining and improving the quality of higher education in Cyprus through its rigorous evaluation and accreditation processes.
