Overview

The Stiftung zur Akkreditierung von Studiengängen in Deutschland (Foundation for the Accreditation of Study Programs in Germany) is an organization responsible for ensuring the quality of higher education in Germany. It was established in 2005 as a result of the Bologna Process, which aimed to create a common European Higher Education Area. The foundation is responsible for accrediting study programs at universities and other higher education institutions throughout Germany. It also provides guidance and support to institutions seeking accreditation and promotes the continuous improvement of higher education in Germany.
