The Japan Institution for Higher Education Evaluation (JIHEE) is an independent organization that evaluates and accredits higher education institutions in Japan. It was established in 2004 as a nonprofit organization with the aim of ensuring and improving the quality of higher education in Japan. JIHEE conducts evaluations of universities, colleges and other higher education institutions, based on a set of standards developed in collaboration with stakeholders in the higher education community.
