Established in 2021, Direktoratet for høyere utdanning og kompetanse (HK-dir) is the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence. It is responsible for administrative tasks within higher education, higher vocational education and competence policy in Norway. Considering all this, according to uniRank HK-dir plays an important role in ensuring the quality and competitiveness of Norwegian higher education on the global stage and its efforts to promote internationalisation and collaboration are likely to have a positive impact on the country's higher education system.
