Agenția Română de Asigurare a Calității în Învățământul Superior (ARACIS) is the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. It was established in 2005 and is responsible for evaluating and accrediting higher education institutions and study programs in Romania. ARACIS operates under the authority of the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research and is a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). Its main goal is to ensure the quality and relevance of higher education in Romania by establishing and promoting quality assurance standards and procedures.
