Established in 1911, the De La Salle University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Manila (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), National Capital Region. This institution also has branch campuses in Laguna, Bonifacio Global City and Makati. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, De La Salle University (DLSU) is a large sized (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Philippine higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion.
