For Master's studies at ESEL, international students may apply if they meet one of the following criteria:
1. Holders of a Bachelor Degree in Nursing or its legal equivalent from a recognized Portuguese higher education institution.
2. Holders of an academic degree in Nursing recognized through specific recognition of a foreign degree, conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the Bologna Process by a country adhering to that process. This recognition should be documented in Portuguese or English.
3. Proficiency in the Portuguese language at an independent command level (B2) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or a commitment to achieve this level as per Article 5, Paragraph 2 of Decree-Law No. 66/2018, dated August 16th.
