Established in 1997, the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Kigali (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kigali Province. This institution also has a branch campus in Nyanza and Rwamagana. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Rwanda, University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) is a large sized (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Rwandan higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Adventist religion.
