FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

Applicants must apply to the announced quotas with one of the following documents:

  • "ANADOLUYOS Exam Score" document
  • "High School Diploma Grade"
  • "High School Graduation Exam Score"
  • "Higher Education Institutions Exam Score" document approved by the Council of Higher Education

International Open Education programs require applicants to be graduates of high school or equivalent schools (except for Türkiye or TRNC high schools).

Higher Education Institutions Exams recognized by the Council of Higher Education include:

  • ACT Exam - A minimum total score of 21 in Science (Science Reasoning), Mathematics, and Composite
  • A minimum score of 300 out of 350 from the Afghanistan National University Entrance Exam (KONKUR-Baccalaurea)
  • A minimum score of 400 out of 700 from the Central University Entrance Exam held by TQDK in Azerbaijan
  • A minimum score of 60 out of 100 from Indonesia Ujlan Akhir National (UAN)
  • GAOKAO Exam - A minimum score of at least 480 out of 750 in the subject matter accepted by the applied program
  • A minimum score of B3 from each of the six subjects, including mathematics, from the WAEC (West African Examination Council) exam held in Nigeria
  • SAT 1 - A total combined score of at least 1000 in Mathematics + Reading sections and a minimum score of 550 in Mathematics

High school diploma scores or high school graduation exam scores requirements include:

  • A score of 1-4 on ABITUR or Austria MATURA (Matura Reifezeugnis). (Applications with FACHABITUR without an exam score will not be accepted)
  • DIPLÔME DU BACCALAUREAT GENERAL (French Baccalaureate score type only given in France) - A diploma grade of at least 12
  • GCE (A level) - At least two A levels, one of which is related to the subject matter of the applied program
  • A minimum diploma grade of 3.5 for Switzerland MATURA examination
  • For those with TRNC nationality who reside in TRNC with high school education completed in TRNC and have taken GCE AL exam, and received education in a high school in another country between 2005 and 2010 and have taken GCE AL exam
  • A minimum diploma grade of 10 on Greek “Apolytirion of Lykeo/Secondary School Leaving Certificate”
  • Other foreign country high school diploma grade of at least 6 out of 10 (60 percent) or its equivalent

FOR GRADUATE PROGRAMS

Graduate program applications are evaluated based on General Grade Point Average (excluding Fine Arts Graduate School programs).

Examinations for majors at the Graduate School of Fine Arts are conducted as portfolio review and/or artistic work, and interviews.

Candidates must document their foreign language score in order to be able to register for doctorate/art proficiency programs and master's degree programs taught in foreign languages.

In order to start the Ph.D./art proficiency program, candidates must obtain at least fifty-five points from the foreign language exams organized by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) or an equivalent score from international foreign language exams accepted by ÖSYM.

In order to be able to register for graduate programs in which the language of instruction is a foreign language (except for foreign language programs), candidates must obtain at least sixty points from the foreign language exams organized by ÖSYM in the foreign language they will study or an equivalent score from international foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM.

Candidates applying to master's and doctorate degrees whose fields of discipline are foreign languages must have a score of at least eighty in the foreign language they will study or an equivalent score from international foreign language exams accepted by ÖSYM.

  • The original and notarized Turkish translations of the bachelor’s degree “graduation documents” (transcript) translated by a sworn translator for candidates who apply to master's programs and post-bachelor’s doctorate/proficiency in arts programs
  • The original of the bachelor’s degree diploma or graduation certificate and its notarized Turkish translations translated by a sworn translator for candidates who apply to the master's program and to post-bachelor’s
