Established in 1945, the National Taiwan University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Taipei City (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Taipei. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, National Taiwan University (NTU) is a large sized (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. National Taiwan University (NTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
