International students come from countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, the People's Republic of China, Africa and Latin America.

Since 1991, Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University has had a preparatory department for foreign citizens. The tailored training program, as well as many years of work experience of teachers, allows students to quickly master the Ukrainian language and the basics of technical and economic disciplines.

Students who graduated from the preparatory department have high indicators of knowledge that meet the requirements of the chosen specialty.

During the work of the preparatory department, about 500 international students received certificates of successful completion.
