Since 2009, it has been automated on the free ABIS Koha software.

Via the Internet, users have round-the-clock (24/7) access to the library website library.kname.edu.ua, electronic library catalog koha.kname.edu.ua, digital repository of the works of University scientists eprints.kname.edu.ua, which is registered in the international ROAR register.

Since 2016, the library has developed and conducts user training on the distance course "Information Resources of the Scientific library of O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv" which is located in the Moodle distance learning system.

Since 2017, the library has access to the following international databases Scopus, Web of Science, full-text resources of the SpringerLink portal, full-text journals Springer 1997-2020 years published access to e-books Springer 1997. The work of the library is provided by 46 full-time employees.

The total annual expenses for the library amounted to 200-300 thousand UAH (hryvnia). Since 2022, they spend money only on restoration and repair works.
