Established in 1940, the Università Pontificia Salesiana (Salesian Pontifical University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the metropolis of Rome (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has a branch campus in Torino and Jerusalem. Officially recognized by the Dicastery for Culture and Education of the Vatican City State, Università Pontificia Salesiana (UPS) is a coeducational Vatican higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Università Pontificia Salesiana (UPS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
